History:
Emma was born to a very rich family in the Boston area. She had a turmotious relationship with her family from a young age-- having rivalries with her sisters and always clashing with her parents. Even so, she was an ideal student and went to a private school in Snow Valley, Massachusetts.

Her family more or less fell apart when she 16 years old due to a number of tragedies and problems her emerging powers brought. She left to New York city with just a bit of pocket changed. She attended college during the day and at night she would use her powers to sneak into parties with powerful, rich men and use her powers to rip secrets from their minds. She was able to leverage this into a great fortune.

Eventually she got the attention of the Hellfire club. Originally she was hired there as a stripper, but using her powers she was able to increase her influence, eliminate her enemies and rise to the top. She bought her old school and turned it into a place to teach and train child soldiers for the Hellfire Club called Hellions.

However a mutant-hating zealot with future technology named Fitzroy murdered all her students. She then resigned from the Hellfire Club and joined Xavier. It was decided that with the number of students of Xavier's school growing, it would be best to start a second campus. So she was put in charge of the students who would attend Massachusetts Academy.
