The Physical
Physical Description: Gurdy is a large anthropomorphic pangolin. He has a brown scaly hide, clawed fingers, and a snout that many have described as "cute." He is built like a tank, which is often also the role he assumes when in a party of adventurers. He wears armors over his already well protected hide and wields a hammer and shield, using both for offence and defense alike.
Distinguishing Marks: he is missing a couple of scaly plates from past battles, but nothing too noticable.

The Juicy Bits
Personality: Gurdy is down to earth and protective of those he cares about, even if the feelings aren't mutual. He is a bit of a country bumpkin, but isn't nearly as naive as many automatically assume. He is physically large and intimidating, but is often quite shy in social situations. He is working on being more assertive though, because people have walked all over him in the past.
Backstory: Gurdy grew up in a small town in the countryside, and his family was more or less the town's official guards. That was their profession. The also spent a lot of time in the fields, planting and harvesting crops. Gurdy loved that life, but he always felt like it was a bit too small for him. Like he was destined for more. His grandparents picked up on that and encouraged him to explore his options, and so he eventually set out into the larger world, eventually finding his way to Orario. When he heard how the members of familias watched each other's backs and held the dungeon monsters at bay, he knew it was his calling. He had the combat skills already, and Hecate's blessing of magic expressed itself in Gurdy' down to earth demeanor, granting him earth magic.
