Shae's most iconic feature is her long, vibrant red hair. A mass that she treats with vanity and pride. Pale skin is covered with a thick layer of freckles she wears proudly. Matched with bright hazel gray eyes, she tends to brighten wherever she walks. Forever a hippy at heart, her clothing reflects an eclectic combination of whatever happened to be the first thing in her closet. Her fingers are often stained with ink, or paint, or whatever her medium of the moment happens to be.

He wanted to be in every part of her life. Said he didn't care when she went out with other people, but ended up following her wherever she went. The final straw was when she discovered the GPS app he had snuck onto her phone. The confrontation was messy and emotional, but a warning about calling the police seems to have stopped the worst of it. Though she still occasionally catches glimpses of him, nothing concrete enough to get him in trouble.

Character History:

Born in San Diego in December of 1986, Shae was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Her father was a very lucrative divorce attorney and her mother a literature professor. The world growing up was rigid and routine, with big shoes and high expectations. A gangly child, she grew into her legs and moppy hair before the rest of her developed. As a counter for being teased, she developed a laissez faire attitude and turned to humor. If she laughed at herself first, everyone else had to laugh with her. When puberty hit, and she grew into her height, the teasing stopped, but her outlook on the world never changed.

To some minor controversy, she took to art in those middle school years when children thought they were adults and could be the cruelest. She found that people could ignore the freckles when she showed them something beautiful. Her hard work paid off in a partial scholarship to RISD.

The last few years, however, have been strained. Her mom wants her to come back home, get married, have kids and get a 'real job'. In response, Shae has done everything in her power to stay in far away. Ends are tighter now, but her freedom is worth it.
