A direct descendant of Susannah Martin (through her mother's side), Cinth's family tree is large and expansive. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins are scattered all across New England, primarily gathered in the areas of Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Born into heredity of witch craft, she was raised on it. Some of her more daring family taking their hedge magic into other areas of the United States. Though, through time, manifestations have become less and align more with affinity and good fortune than actual magic craft. Hyacinth is an exception. Her abilities lying in Tasseography, Herbalism and Alchamy. Building circles and summoning spirits are beyond her grasp, but she can bake a batch of brownies that can cause sadness, or a jar of jam that incites lust.
