What do people see when they glance at you?
Rolf is huge, his tainted blood marks him out, and although the Mitrian society tried to treat him like any other half-orc or half-elf, it was clear he was more than that. Almost ten feet tall, and built like a brick outhouse he is massive, has a greenish tinge to his skin, red eyes and several prominent tusks that distort his lower lip and give him a bestial cast to his face. White tattoo's line some of his features of his face and arms, powerful muscles cording his arm and long claws tipping his fingers. His hair is braided carefully and neatly, bringing order to the long coarse hair that feels more like a horse mane than normal human hair. His clothing and armor is usually well made, he's clearly spent money getting it tailored to his side but it's usually minimalistic, trousers, a chain shirt, several straps, metal loops and carrying points allow him to attach his varying bits of equipment but, when he's carrying it the massive butcher's cleaver (and his namesake) usually attracts a lot of attention. On his left arm a massive metal bracer, nicked and scraped from blocking blows, clips to his arm. Piercings in his pointed ears complete the image and the surly demeanor makes him look the part of villain if the F branded in his cheek didn't.

What will people find out if they ask around about you?
Rolf is rumored to have troll blood, his mother is an infamous sorceress or witch, depending on the tale, and has coupled and bred with all manner of magical humanoids. Her progeny, allied with some of her magically crafted or summoned companions, travel with them to make sure their tasks are successful. Rolf, somehow, ended up on Mitra digging up old grave sites, what he was looking for is not clear but it's unlikely he will find it now he is in Brandescar. A rather odd rumor is that he is an expert chef, cooking some of the finest food in all of Faerun and that it might even have magical properties...if you don't mind eating the food of a witch spawned troll, try the Pichana it's apparently excellent.

What will people find out if they talk to you?
Rolf is surly but will talk easily about food if engaged. He is, surprisingly, more intelligent than his appearance shows and is very happy to spend time outdoors looking for ingredients and meat to cook in a variety of ways. While he can come across as somewhat belligerent he is very orderly and keeps himself and his kitchen in tip top shape and order. It is very clear he believes those with the greatest power should rule those without and he is not above grunting out a few threats to those who oppose him.

What will people find out if they look into your past?
His mother is indeed a powerful witch, and he has followed in her footsteps to some degree. He has a travelling chest that walks under it's own powers and a rat that hides in his hair frequently but clearly is more intelligent than it seems for such a tiny rodent. His disdain for the softness of the Mitrain church is well known and for those who dig will know he served his mother as a personal chef, servant and dogsbody for almost a decade before striking out, with her blessing, on his own. He still feels he owes her and has done several things on the main land of Faerun to help her out....it would not be surprising if his journey to Talingrade was not some task from her.
