Hobgoblin

Character Name: Hobgoblin
Alias: Dr. Kerwin Korman
Powers:
Bulletproof mail with an overlapping tunic, cape, and cowl
A computerized system that cybernetically causes the finger-blasters to randomly vary their attack vectors when trained on a particular target
Goblin glider, a one-man miniature turbo-fan-powered vertical thrust, cybernetically-controlled vehicle. It can reach high velocities and is extremely maneuverable
Concussion and incendiary Jack O'Lanterns
Wraith-shaped smoke and gas-emitting bombs
Bat shaped razor-edged throwing blades
Gloves woven with micro-circuited power conducting filaments which channel pulsed discharges of electricity
He also wears a shoulder bag to carry his small, portable weaponry

Skills:
Kerwin Korman is a gifted scientist with a genius intellect. He will continue to make adjustments and advances to the Hobgoblin costume and equipment in the laboratories of Asteroid M.

Weaknesses:
Light sensitive. Since being temporarily blinded by Kree technology while fighting Ms. Marvel, exposure to bright lights or direct daylight causes Kerwin headaches, forcing him to wear sunglasses when outside during the day. Lighting effects such as strobe lights can bring on full-blown migraines. He should never fight Dazzler. Lenses in his Hobgoblin mask compensate for this weakness, but he will still avoid light-based foes as the lenses are not 100% effective.

Dr. Korman is overly curious about any scientific apparatus he may come across. If he were to break into the FF's headquarters he would absolutely be caught in Reed Richard's laboratory, dismantling some device to try and understand how it works. Alien technology in particular is a weakness.

Character Biography:
Kerwin Korman was a criminal scientist in the employ of A.I.M. Alongside the Scorpion, he battled Ms. Marvel in the guise of the Destructor, wearing a battlesuit of his own design, but was defeated. Attempting to escape from A.I.M, who wanted to punish him for his failure, he fled to a cavern containing a lost outpost of the alien Kree where Ms. Marvel was battling the robot called the Doomsday Man. Opening a box left behind by the Kree during the course of the battle, Korman was blinded (temporarily, as it turned out) and, firing blindly, caused a cave in which seemingly killed him.

Like all good villains, however, he didn't die, but the blast did leave him sensitive to bright lights.

Upon healing from the worst of his wounds in an A.I.M. medical facility he'd managed to stumble into, Korman found himself in possession of the gear of the villain calling himself the Hobgoblin, and who had himself recently been killed. Retro-engineering the costume, weaponry, and technology while he recovered, Korman also had time to think about the direction his life had taken, and the choices he'd made leading to his brush with death. A life-long lover of Halloween, Korman wondered if he couldn't take the Hobgoblin and turn him into something more constructive than just a Green Goblin knockoff.

Soon after, word came through the criminal underground, as it so often does, of someone recruiting for a new team. Korman followed the trail to its source, and learned of the new Thunderbolts. It seemed like everything he'd done to this point had been leading to this moment, so he left A.I.M behind to join the new team, and maybe find some redemption.

He also found the mask itchy, so cut his hair and shaved his beard. He's still getting used to his new look.
