Wait, Why Am I In A Dungeon?
You suddenly find yourself in a dungeon. Y'know, a huge underground system of caverns and tunnels? With strange and magical lifeforms and traps and stuff?The gods have teleported your character into the dungeon because Reasons. (They're very sorry, but they can't explain right now. If you only knew the terrible things the gods are multitasking right now, it would horrify you. They'll tell you later, when things have settled down a bit more...)
You have to find your way out of the dungeon. (Sorry!)
The big twist is: Your character isn't from a dungeon-y fantasy world at all. They're from a totally differently-genred dimension-- each character is a Superhero, or a Sci-fi Space Opera Character, or an Old West Gunslinger, or a typical Kid On A Bike (but your bike got left at home), or a Steampunk Engineer, or whatever-- each character is from a different genre.
(The gods have made it so your usual weapon never needs to be recharged nor reloaded-- although magical ammo only fires one shot per round now. Sorry! The god/gods are very sheepish, but that's the best they can do. Any amazing powers you were able to use in your own world mmmmight also be a little downgraded (at least until you start leveling up).)
You've got a funny feeling that even after you find your way out of the dungeon, the gods won't be ready to send you back home right away...
