Nobody much cared what the city was really called. For those in the know, that didn't much matter, anyway, because when the sun went down and all the office workers, drones, and nobodies went to bed, the real city came alive. This was the Midnight City, and its dank streets, twisting alleys, and decaying edifices were home to horrors that the normies would never understand.
