The Lawless Lands aims to be a 5e adaptation of classic sandbox hexcrawl adventures with some modern ideas sprinkled in here and there, allowing you to explore and impact a dynamic world, and experience emergent quests and storylines.
You begin the game as a group that forms in the city of Sentinel, the very last outpost in the Worldspine Mountains that guards the lone passage into the arid wastelands that mark the very edge of civilized society. To the South and now firmly behind you lie the Lands of Milk and Honey, dozens of small kingdoms, city-states and petty empires that sprawl across sunlit valleys, rich highlands and beautiful islands teeming with life. Ahead of you lie the arid savannas, exiles and barbarians, sorcerer-kings and warlords, and, perhaps, something that you've longed for all your life - whether that's freedom, riches, fame or a chance to make your mark in history.
